It is time for a new  weekly challenge again at   I ♥ ProMarkers      .The theme this week is "snowflakes "...There are 2 sponsors this week and they are Live and love crafts who are offering a £10.00 voucher for their store

For my Dt projects this week I have made this card and lantern set ...You will be seeing a lot of these lanterns from me as I think they are just gorgeous and are so quick to make ..I made a 5 sided version this time using the new lantern box die set from tonic studios. The card features my fave all time xmas stamp from funky kits.i have had her for years and she gets an airing every year Her name is snowflake and I have coloured her with promarkers.The papers are from the  trimcraft first edition Nordic xmas pad. The joy die is by sue Wilson. The  snowflake border dies is from memory box. The oval frame is part of a spellbinders grande die set.The large snowflake die is from Marianne d. Ribbons and gems are from Meiflower Crafts.The stacker tree die is from Dees distinctively dies at maddylisa's crafts[ it is the small tree die I just  cut all the pieces out twice and stacked it up to make a large one ]

Christmas tree

Hi all
I decided to raid my stash and use up some of the Christmas items I bought over the last few  years ...I have made this card using an embossing folder from cuttlebug for the tree. The embossed backround is a sizzix folder. The flower is a Marianne d poinsettia die. The swirls are by memory box.The card base is from hunky-dory and the ribbons and gems are from meiflower crafts....a quick simple xmas card using all my old stuff...I am planning to use my old stuff and not buy any new xmas dies I am on a stash diet I didn't realise how much I had until I have started packing it away to move house...!!!!!!

Hi all
I am mad busy renovating my new house ...or The money pit as it has affectionately been nicknamed!! I am having withdrawal symptoms from my lack of craft time ...but I managed to make a card and lantern set using my new stash of crafty goodies I have bought.I think I may use this design for all my Christmas cards this year ..it was very easy to achieve with just a couple of dies....The dies I used were ,Sue wilsons Joy die set. The large ornate oval  frame is from sweet Dixie. The lantern die is from tonic studios.The snowflake border die is from memory box . The embossing folder behind the joy words on the card is from SU,The ribbon and gems are from meiflower crafts.and the stick pins are from creative expressions. The silver mirri is from my stash

The flowers are made using a Marianne d die. The butterflies are made using an SU sizzlit die. The pearls  are from meiflower crafts .I coloured the giraffe with promarkers.

It is challenge time again at I ♥ ProMarkers challenge.. This week the challenge theme is "Autumnal colours " The sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter

For my DT project this week I have made this 8x8 notebook for myself ...I used grey board for the notebook cover. The papers I used are from graphic 45 ,they are from the lets celebrate pack and from a pack from graphic 45 I had free is an mag a while ago. The image is from the paper shelter and is called Autumn leaves. I coloured it with promarkers. The frame around the image is  a die from memory box. The rose was made using sue wilsons classic rose die. The other flowers are made using memory box rolled flower dies. The flourishes are dies from sizzix .The ribbons and pearls are from Mieflower crafts.

Happy Birthday...80 years young

Hi all
Here is a birthday card and bag I have made for my friend...the brief for the card was...pink /green /not too fussy and some flowers ...so here is what I came up with ..the flowers are a digi that I had from cardmadfairy when I was on her DT and the papers are so old from my stash that I don't remember where they came from!!! The  buttons,ribbons and gems are from Meiflower crafts,The butterflies are made using a punch.The corner dies are from Marianne d. The flourishes are made using  memory box dies.The white bag blank is from papermania.The sentiment was computer made using open office .

A Trio Of Christmas Lanterns

Hi all
I have used the Tonic Keepsake lantern box die set for these 3 pretty lanterns . They are so quick and easy to make too.For mine I used cream card which I bought from limetree crafts. It is 300gsm and has a delicate hammered texture.The faux tealights were a bargain at £1.00 for 4 from our local poundshop. The die set comes with all the dies you need to make these 3 different lanterns...plus by mixing the panel shapes and designs I guess you could make lots more variations of them.. of course by  purchasing  the other tonic  panel dies you can make endless combinations...I do have to say that I found the base die for the 3 sided box is completely the wrong shape !!!!!!!  ...apparently tonic do know about this ...I am a little puzzled that they still released the dies ,but having said that ....  I simply measured the lantern sides and very easily constructed my own  it was very easy to rectify and I think the finished projects look so pretty that it didn't put me off buying the set at all...I think they will make such pretty table decorations for your Christmas festivities. or  dinner parties and just to sit on mantlepeices,or if your Christmas tree was large enough you could hang some of these on it .I will be making them with plain sides to my handmade jewellery gifts too...OOOh the possibilities...

Halloween time at Auds sentiment designs

Hi all
It is time for team B to show you their projects for the second week of Auds Sentiments Designs challenge. The Theme is Halloween ....but you MUST have a Halloween sentiment on your project !!!!

For my Dt projects this week I have made this cute aperture card and matching basket to hold all those Halloween goodies...I have used the cute Halloweenbratwitch digi from  Bugaboo Stamps .I coloured her with promarkers and fussycut her out so she would sit on the aperture I created with nesties.The 31 and boo die cuts are made using a bigz die from Tim Holtz. The digi  papers were  FREE from Bearly Mine  ages ago - The bats are handmade .The happy Halloween sentiment is computer generated.The basket was made using a 12x 12 piece of card ...you can find a tutorial HERE on pinterest on how to make it .I just made it bigger and altered the handles.

For my DT  project this week I have used a stamp that I love and have had for ages ...she is called snowflake and I bought her from funky kits.The 2  papers I have used came from the Trimcraft silent night paper pad by first edition ...I love these fab quality papers ..I also used a  triple tree die from memory box .A Marianne d poinsettia die, an  couple of oval nestability dies and  a heartfelt creation leaf die.I added iced snow from cosmic shimmer to the trees and flower and leaves. The sentiment is from a stamp and punch set by SU.I coloured her with promarkers.The ribbon and gems are from meiflower crafts.I distressed the papers with a TH tool
