Madame butterfly

Hi

I have had time after work to make my sisters birthday card,she is a fan of all things oriental and loves madame butterfly,so i made her a bookmark card with an oriental feel.i used
oriental backing papers from papermania,the butterfly was done with a pop up butterfly punch from studio cards ,the stamp was free on this months craft stamper mag,sheer ribbon and gems are from my stash,and i used a martha stewart punch for the pretty edge.

I have used free fairy stamps i recieved in the papercraft inspirations mag,papers from my stash,prima flowers ,ribbon from my stash and a papermania sentiment,it is a nice sketch to follow,hope you like it.

Daughters birthday today

Its my daughter danielles 23rd birthday today,happy birthday sweetheart ,i made this gatefold card for her ising the sweet and sassy stamp from funkykits and the backing papers are from my minds eye bloom and grow range,flowers are from prima and the large one is punched with the e k success retro flower punch and doodled on,i hope she likes it.

sketch challenge 17 card

I have been asked to set this weeks challenge 17 on trimcraft as funky mother has a busy workload,i have done a sketch and card for it ,not a very high tech sketch pic i know but those of you who know me realise that a computer is still an alien object to me.

C.R.A.F.T. challenge card

This week the challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is no backing papers ,the candy for this weeks prize is a gorgeous i stamp from the crafty pad,pop over and have a go .http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.com/

I had to have a good think about this and came up with this card,its the lace tree cuttlebug folder on silver mirror board,matted on white card that was embossed using the snowflakes then backed with black glitter card,very effective i think.it did not photograph very well as it is very reflective but i think you can get the gist.

sketch 16 challenge card

I have made this card for a sketch challenge set by funkymother on trimcraft,they are weekly challenges using sketches and recipes that are great to keep and use if your crafting mojo disappears,i will definately use this one again .

I used k and co sparkly sweet papers,swiss dot embossed card [cuttlebug folder], a butterfly pop up punch from studio cards.the sentiment is from crafters companion especially for you range,i finished with some gems and a flower from my stash.

I have made a friendship card for a swap on trimcraft,its not my usual style but i decided to try something a bit different this time,i love my minds eye papers the quality is superb.

Two little helpers

I have had a lovely morning crafting with 2 little helpers ,my friends two boys came to visit and we made 2 xmas cards,i had a go at step cards ,i have to say i dont think i have the template quite right but we had fun with these cards and the boys love them ,which is the main thing.they are for their teachers .

I am determined not to buy any craft goodies until my birthday at the end of oct.

I really want some promarkers,i am having a daily argument with myself trying to justify spending so much money on them ,so if i say they are for my birthday i will feel its ok.crafters logic is a great thing isnt it ?

I have had a lovely day catching up with my crafting and bloghopping,here is a card i made for a cousin who is 16,i hope its cool enough for her , the stamp is one of the anya range from the greetings farm,i think they are kate knight backing papers ,i used a crafters companion sentiment stamp,coloured with dovecraft brushmarkers and finished with prima flowers.

I have been visiting jenniscraftyjournal,she is a very talented lady and has a new range of her own stamps now on sale ,her blogspot is fab ,please go and have a look ,i have added it to my list of fave blogs,good luck with the new stamps,i will be getting some asap.

Glad to be back

Thank you BT,i am so glad to be back on-line.I have had a busy couple of weeks,I am now settled in my newhome and loving it,i have had a little craft break and now i am ready to crack on with the xmas card list from the girls in work.so here are the first two ,i hope you like them .

I have managed to make a card with the meagre stash i brought with me,it is using a stamp from funkykits i had as a swap.the papers are k and co sparkly sweet .prima flowers .anitas ribbon and some gems ,the vellum sentiment is from my local craft shop.

Busy busy day

Hi everyone

I have had such a busy day,I had to go to work,then hurry home and pack up the house ready to move ,i am going to runcorn and carlisle for a week so OH has to move while i am gone,so i have had to pack everything so its easier for him to move it all,my we have accumulated a lot of stuff[mainly craft stuff].

I have still had time for a quick card tho for my blog.I used my new anya stamps ,backing paper from the antique cream range,cream embossed card using the swirls design on the cuttlebug,coloured her in with dovecraft brushmarkers,finished it off with cream ribbon from anitas and some kaisercraft flowers,hope you like it

sketch card for trimcraft challenge

I have made this card for a sketch challenge set by lee-ann on the trimcraft forum,they are weekly challenges set on a sunday .they are very addictive and great fun ,there is a stash prize every week,why dont you pop along and join in.

I have used my new anya stamps,sparkly sweet papers from k and co.the present was made with embossed card and ribbon.the flowers are from kaisercraft and the sentiment was made up with peel offs,coloured with dovecraft brushmarkers and matted using nesties ovaland scalloped ovals.

I have had visitors for a few days and have been neglecting my crafting as you do.I thought i would put a card on i made a while ago ,its a penny black stamp i had as part of a swap with my lovely trimcraft friends ,i have to say this stamp is now on my wishlist,along with many others.hope you like it.
