For my DT project i have made this   valentine card using a crafty sentiments image called Little friends.i used papermania happy days papers. The  cut hearts are dies from cheery lynn.The flowers are from wild orchid.The frame around the image is a nestability radiant rectangle and the ribbon and gems are from meiflower crafts.

Cute bear frame

Hi
I am not a huge fan of reds...so I try to find alternatives for my valentines projects. I think this cute 8x8bear frame is perfect ..The image is from stamp fairy which I coloured with promarkers..I made this easy to make frame[ my basic tutorial for this frame is here] using papers from the ever versatile papermania happy days pad...The ticket  background inside the frame is a huge stamp which I stamped in stampin up lucky limeade ink..I stamped it twice and used one of the tickets as a sentiment. The flowers are from mulberry crafts...The fab organza  ribbon is from Meiflower Crafts
The easel back die to make it stand up is made using a sizzix die and grungeboard covered with matching papers

HEART FRAME

 

Hi
I have made this frame using my new  happy days papers from papermania...the frame itself was constructed by hand ,,,I have put a very basic frame tutorial under my  blog header so you can have a go for yourselves... they are so easy ...To make the frame stand up I attatched a easel back die cut from sizzix.. the corners are new tonic dies just released the flowers are from my stash.and the hearts wete created with a punch .
.I found the easel die cut right through even the thickest card breaking the actual standing component in half , so I used grungeboard covered with matching paper and that worked a treat ...I have no pic of the back ...but I will be making another frame today so you will see how it stands then.. but here is the die I used for the stand....sizzix have a fab sale at the moment and this die is just £3.74...have a browse at their site ..the p and p is over £6 tho so make sure you make it worth your while ....lol





.you could use any size heavyweight  card/paper wallpaper etc to make these frames to match your home décor...even make them smaller to attatch as a card topper....oooh the possibilities....

Sewing themed mini book

Hi all
I made my first mini book using a vintage set of papers  last week and now I can't stop making the little things...this one is 8x8 however so not so mini ...lol
I have used the gorgeous happy days papers [ my newest pack] ,journaling cards and designer die cuts from papermania....the papers are just fab .As always the gorgeous grosgrain teal ribbon and white organza ribbons,twine  and sizzor charm is from the fab meiflower crafts.my new  sizzor die cut edge die  is by sizzix.the buttons sizzlit is from SU The .Lace is from my stash .The button die cut border is from memory box.The stamped heart and sentiment on the front of the book is a free bee from docrafts creativity this month.The embossing folders I have used throughout the book are by xcut

New Home Card

Hi
I have made this card for my big sis and brother in law...She has just moved into the house of her dreams and I am so thrilled for her..I have used papermania's new  parisienne blue paper range..It is so pretty ...The sentimentsare both digi images.The ribbon ,pearls and buttons  are  from meiflower crafts .The flowers are made using an x cut palm punch.
The frame on the card front is so easy...I have popped a very basic turorial for a larger frame  under my blog header ...all you have to do is adjust the measurements and you can make any size  with frame,any frame width...just remember the gap between the first 2 measurements and the last  2 measurements must be the same [so that your inner frame edge depth is the same as your outer edge depth ....]
I have kept the design quite simple as my sis likes non fussy designs

my very first mini book!!

Hi all
I have been wanting to make a mini book for ages and so here is my first one...its 6x6 in size and I have used the gorgeous madame payrauds range...papers butterflies,pleated trim etc.....
I also used a sizzix birdcage die,a joycrafts Eiffel tower and banner die.cheery lynn hearts and butterflies dies. All  the organza ribbon and gems are from meiflower crafts .I used kraft card. ,a craft-dee bow bow maker. The mulberry flowers  are from wild orchid.i have left the photo panels empty but I will fill them with sepia photo,s of my mum and dad and give it as a gift to my daughter...
