A Little Ballet .....

It is Tracey here with my project for you for this month's inspiration over at Craft-Dee BowZ  .The Dt had a " Music to my ears theme "  and a colour combo of either teal/black or ,cream/ blackfor may and so I just had to use my favourite little Ballet Dancer from Mo Manning .I coloured her with promarkers. The musical notes to the left are made using a memory box die. The musical border  die is from Joycrafts . The papers are from My Minds Eye and are called lost and found antique.my Mpp Pack this month .
I handmade the music score rose using sue wilsons classic rose die. The rolled flowers were handmade using a Marianne D die .

The sentiment stamp is from stampin bella. I inked the edges of everything using TH pumice stone distress ink ,I attatched a cute ballet shoe charm complete with cute  twine mini bow

The fab triple  looped organza bow  and mini twine bow were both  made using my Craft-Dee BowZ  Bow making  tool ,It is so easy to use and is my go to tool for all my Bow making needs.

another Mdf plaque

Here is the final project I made for a demo on behalf of SET  in Haverforwest. ,sorry for the delay in posting this but I have been making some changes and now that everything is set in place  I  will have more time to blog,craft and do as I want instead of working to a schedule.....
The mdf plaque is from creative expressions. I used Creative expressions chalk paint  and sponge smoothies to  create the background effect after it had been treated with gesso.The mdf shed is part of the beach hut set which I used as a shed this time .The mdf banner and bird are also from Creative expression.I also used the CE stamp set to make the flowers and leaves  I stamped them out using stayzon .The sentiment is computer generated and the lettering on the banner is created using the stitched letter stamp set also from CE.
Here is how the beach huts turned out too after being covered with craftwork cards beach themed papers...

MDF Plaques...

Here is another  projects I made at the Demo I did last Friday .The plaques come in several pieces so you can make them as large or small as you like .This one was made using all the pieces ....I also used the mdf sea shapes  pack which contain ,the ship,waves,crab and seagulls .I used the large banner pieces and stitched letter  stamps [which I stamped the word sun on].I used the small letter tiles and small tile letter  stamps .I also used micro beads to add texture.
All the mdf pieces have been treated with gesso and then coloured using colour cloud. The boat base was coloured using a promarker...
I loved having a go at this project it was just something a little different for a change.

Creative expressions mdf ....

Well I had such a lovely day on Friday doing a demo for a local craft shop called SET ..It is in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire and every month the SET team host a FREE demo day in a local charity shop café .we have 2 demo times 10.30 and again at 2.30 . This time I was showing what can be done with the creative expressions mdf products and I totally enjoyed creating the projects ...The lovely ladies ...and gentleman who attended really enjoyed seeing something a little different .so over the next couple of days I will post the projects that I made .I hope you like them ..You can purchase these items from the SET website ...If you head over to the site you will find that the crafty stash  that Ben and the team offer you there are at the most unbelievable prices and their service is second to none,...They have a bank holiday sale on too....

The first of them are these 2 sweet birdie wall hangers. they feature the birdie mdf shapes and stamp set from creative expressions. I also used tattered lace dies to create the circles. The papers were purchased from the works and were a bargain at £4.00 FOR A 12X12 PACK...
I used adifferent patterned paper on each hanger  and you can see them better on the next 2 pics.
The birds were treated with gesso and then painted with creative expressions chalk paint before I stamped using stayzon  ,it gives a beautiful finish .The ribbons were formed into those fab bows using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool ...MY GO TO BOW MAKER  Every time as it is so easy to use. Craft-Dee Bowz May challenge

I t is time for another challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ.  The theme for the challenge is as always  "Anything goes with a handmade bow"
For the DT projects this month I have made something a little different than my usual  paper craft projects .I have been using the new  Creative expressions products released in  April , chalk paint, mdf tiles and matching stamps. I have really enjoyed making this shabby chic door hanger  it is nice to try something different .I primed the Mdf  hanger with gesso to give me a good base for the chalk paint
I painted  the hanger with chalk paint using  the round end of my smoothies.it was really easy and covered really well.T he tiles were also treated with gesso ,chalk paint and then stamped on using the new small tile stamps using stayzon as I wanted a crisp black image.. I added faux stitches around the edge  using a black sharpie.
The flowers are hot glued into the corners
 I  then added a crown charm  from my stash and a computer printed sentiment .The butterflies are made using a Stampin Up Sizzlit die.

The stunning  triple looped bow was created using my Craft-Dee BowZ Bow making tool you will find out all about this easy to use tool HERE ,I use it to make every bow I need for my projects, single or multi looped bows ...
