Fluttering

Hi
I got this Angela poole fluttering  butterfly die set from  In2craft  and i love it. It is so pretty and quite large so you can get a big statement card just using the butterfly as a focal point. The die set comes with a stunning large ,intricate border die , a small butterflly and various dies to  embellish the tab that is used to pull down and make the wings move ... plus all the dies to actually construct the butterfly. It is very easy to put together too once it has been cut out .
There is also a humming bird set on the  website....and pretty papers to complete the collection
I used  the stunning Artisan designs Arcadia silk papers designed by the lovely Pete Simpson  on my card and they can be found HERE

When you pull the tab down the wings unfold so it looks like this

But you then fold flat to post ... very clever .

Create what you love

Hi
It is time for my mid month inspiration project for Craft-deebowz.. Sometimes when you feel like crafting you don't have a specific occasion to craft for and it is lovely to just create what you love... This is my create what ypu love project made with all the pretty ,girly things i love .
I used  a plain piece of paper and altered it using gesso,, lindy's gang sprays and a Tim Holtz alterations  brick stencil and texture paste.

I used some lemon and grey papers which i tore up and i stamped and fussy cut some  stamped altenew leaves  to add to the layered look of the project.

.I added a doily die cut and some  pre-made flowers from wild orchid  and a mdf word that had been painted with gesso.I also added a resin framed picture for the focal point and a thin multi looped bow i had made using my Craftdeebowz bow maker.

Creative stamping issue 70 project.

I have been sent  a copy of  Creative stamping issue 70  from the lovely peeps at  In2Craft.
 It contained  a project inspiration magazine and anA4 sheet of vintage stamps..



For my project i have made a wine bottle/champagne bottle holder using the fab stamps that came with the mag.
I used a crafters companion big score board to create the box. I used some vintage papers i had in my stash and Kraft card to embellish the box . The stamps have been stamped onto kraft card with black memento ink . they stamped out very clearly too ..

Die cutting essentials special edition craft kit issue 9

I have been sent  a Die cutting essentials special edition kit 09 from from the lovely peeps at  In2Craft.

In the kit comes free a  pretty 2 part heart die .an embossing folder, a beautiful set of papers and an A5 stamp sheet  all with a wedding theme .
  For my project I have made a wedding planner using the eileen hull  Journal  bigz die . I used the beautiful papers to cover the journal . I have kept the front plain as there is an elastic fastener to hold it together which would have knocked off any overly fussy embellishmentsif i had put them on the front.

This is the first project ... There will be another  post in an hour so check that one out using the same kit

Stamps by Chloe cardmaking collection kit issue 3

I have been sent  the latest copy of Stamps by Chloe cardmaking collection issue  3  from the lovely peeps at  In2Craft.
 It contained  a project inspiration magazine... A flower die ...some pretty papers...an A5  embossing folder, a sheet of stamps and a stencil . You can find the mag on sale HERE in the In2craft facebook shop priced at £12.99 

This was made using the die as it comes and i used it to create a decorative corner.

I used the die to create the flowers in white glitter card and snipped them out of the die to make the flower embellishments. The sentiment is a stamp that is included in the kit i just backed it using an oval die and some glittercard.. I added a ribbon and pearls to finish it off .

I created the criss cross panelled background using a piece of card i have had for a while .It was precut as a panel but you could achieve this look using any panel die you own . i just added the same white glitter card i used for the flowers behind it. I made a frame around it  using 2 of the nesting square dies from sue wilson .

Project 2 from STAMPS BY CHLOE KIT 3

I have been sent  the latest copy of Stamps by Chloe cardmaking collection issue  3  from the lovely peeps at  In2Craft.
 It contained  a project inspiration magazine... A flower die ...some pretty papers...an A5  embossing folder, a sheet of stamps and a stencil . You can find the mag on sale HERE in the In2craft facebook shop priced at £12.99
Here is the second project i have made using the kit.

To create the card i used a black matt layer on the card base first which i glued down .Then i chose a piece of the patterned paper also enclosed in the kit and tore it to fit onto the black panel. I doodled some fine black lines around the paper. and stamped out the sentiment that is in the collection and framed it with a resin frame i bought from the range. 

Here i used the pretty papers and stamped the flowers , fussy cut them out added a black gem centre and then stamped and leaves onto white card , coloured them with promarkers and fussy cut them out

May DT project for Craft-BeebowZ

Hi
It is time for another challenge to start at  Craft-DeeBowz.
This month the sponsor is Cute As A Button . Who will be giving the lucky winner 2 images of their own choice as the prize
                                            

 I have used the sweet image called  Birthday Gift.... I used the fab new paper range from The paper boutique called Butterfly Parade . The image was coloured with promarkers .

The flowers are handmade using a Sue Wilson Classic Rose die set and the butterfly parade papers.

The large die cuts placed behind the image are Crafters companion  splendid swirls create a card dies...
I formed the bow using my trusty Craftdeebowz bow maker . It makes stunning single and multi looped bows with ease every time .
