Keeping it simple

Hi all
Someday's you find the perfect piece of paper and keep your design simple to show off a beautiful image and today is one of those days. I have had this paper in my stash for years and todays it is the very one that i needed ...So you see it pays to keep every scrap lol...
I have used the beautiful  Ragged Dragon Butterfly stamp from The lovely Pete Simpson at Artisan Designs group uk  . I have simply coloured the butterfly with Bruynzeel watercolour pencils and added a tiny pearl for the head.

The sentiment has been taken from another of the stamp sets from  Artisan Designs group uk   and it was the Sisal leaf butterfly set .

I hope you like my simple project and that you check out the beautiful stamps from this range and previous ranges Pete has in his store... The stamps are stunningly detailed and amazing grey rubber so can be used with a whole host of techniques .. Did i mention they are made by the fab Lesley and the team at  Chocolate Baroque ... Enough said then eh lol

snowmen z fold card

Hi all
It is Tracey here with my mid month inspiration project for The October challenge at Craftdeebowz where the theme is Anything goes with a handmade bow..
 I thought i had better get a start on the Christmas cards early this year to save myself the last minute rush ..I have used the woodware Snowman Buddies stamp which i coloured with watercolour spectrum noir pens.I added puffy stuff to their hats that swells up when ypu heat it with a heat gun.

The background papers i created myself with an Artisan Design group Snowflake Stencil and distress inks .

The sentiment is a stamp  from Stampin up. The bow was created with my Craftdeebowz bow maker which creates easy perfect bows every time with no fuss

spring Daisies ... in disguise as sunflowers !!!!

Hi all
Here is my  twisted easel card project for this months Anything goes with a handmade bow over at
The sponsor is Cute as a Button and this little image is certainly that . The prize for the winner is 2 images of the winners choice .

She is called Spring Daisies  but i made the flowers look like sunflowers so a versatile one as they could be any flowers if you change the colours...you can find her HERE

I couloured the image with a mix of promarkers and tonic alcohol markers.

The sunflowers are handmade using  sunflower stamps and dies from Heartfelt creations . added  brown seed beads to the centre of each flower with  a hot glue gun I made a frame around the image using an 8x8 piece of white card  the tutorial on how to make this frame can be found under my header above.

The papers  and sentiment are a digital download from nitwits Sunflower cottage fat quarter  set ...
