Challenge 251 at I ♥ Promarkers

Hi all
It  is time for the first challenge of 2015 at I ♥ Promarkers . The theme for this weeks challenge is "New Beginnings " and the fab sponsor is Eureka Stamps .They will be giving the lucky winner 3 digi images

For my DT project this week I have made this birth announcement card ..This is the first time I have made a card like this . I was asked to make two cards exactly the same ,one suitable for a boy and one suitable for a girl for a friends daughter.She is expecting her first child and when she finds out the sex of the baby at her next scan she will give the appropriate card to her parents...I think its a fabulous idea and here is the green version [I am halfway through  making the pink version lol]
I used the perfect digi image from Eureka Stamps called Expectant Mom Balloon Holder and you will find her HERE . I coloured her with promarkers . The papers  and sentiment are from Trimcraft up and away 8x8 paper pad. The balloons are cut using a Marianne d die. The banner is made using a Stampin up pennant punch. The ribbon and small white buttons are  from Meiflower crafts and the large green button is from my stash
