first GDT project for corrosive challenges

Hi all
A little while ago i won a challenge at corrosive challenges and was lucky enough to be asked to GDT for oct by Regan....so here is my first project...the theme of the challenge this time is Halloween villain /monster ...so i have used the wonderful frankenstein image from sassy studio designs
The papers are from summer driggs designs and are totally free....
i made the bat by hand .... can you tell lol
the wording i made using the vintage market die by TH. and i coloured frankie with promarkers.

As you are reading this i am away on my hols ....woo woo.

I have used boy playiong soccer image from the digi doodle store ,I coloured him with promarkers.Used free papers from a mag i have had for ages..I added a banner using a SU punch and card candy .the lettering is made using a TH vintage market die...the sentiment is a stamp from my local craft shop.Twine is from trimcraft garden party range

I love the autumnal colours and the image is adorable ..the colouring is sublime and i definatley have colour envy ...lol
Well there is no challenges entered this week  for my little card   as i am away enjoying the sunshine..and the sangria.

christmas wreath card

Hi all
I have made this card following a fab tutorial on meiflower crafts blog from last christmas... I love the wreath effect and the texture that this gorgeous sage green grograin ribbon gives the project.It also works beautifully with satin ribbon of all widths too and you can vary the tension of the ribbon making it look different every time ...you can find  ribbon in abundance at meiflower crafts....
The papers are by  trimcraft first edition  and are called christmas village ,they  are new for  christmas 2012 ...
The sentiment is a stamp from a mag i bought last week.

a birthday card for a friend's mum

Hi all
I was asked to make a birthday card for my friend's mum who is 80 ...i dod not want a cutesy image this time sio here is what i came up with ...The papers i have used are just stunning and are from trimcraft first edition ...Noir et chic...pearlised,glittered embossed and just stunning
I  printed the sentiment on computer and then cut it out with an ovel nestie..
The swirls are a die from sizzix,The flower is from wild orchid crafts,The birdy punch  and edge punche are  from stampin up,the butterfly stamp is by sheena douglas,the ribbon and gems are of course from meiflower crafts.

another fizzy moon set !!!!

 i am loving these trimcraft  fizzy moon die cut decoupage pads at the mo ...you may have noticed ...they are so cute and incredibly good quality....not to menion they make wow cards and gifts ,I have used the traditional decoupage pad for this set .The bag blanks are from a local shop.
The snowflakes are made using punches,The frame around the bear is by marianne d.The gems are by meiflower craftsand the stamped sentiment is from stampin up

Anything goes for digi doodle shop's final challenge

Hi all
Well thi is my final project  for the digi doodle shop as it will be closing its doors soon.
very sad news indeed .....but you can still get your fix of digi images for a short while ...and at a bargain price too so do pop along as there is a  beautifully drawn digi for every occasion to be had at the digi doodle shop store but you have to be quick as the offer ends sept 30th

Fizzy moon card and bottle tag set

HI
Here is a set i have made using the fizzy moon decoupage pad and papers new for xmas 2012 by trimcraft...aint he a cutie...I decided on a bottle tag to match ...they are always so handy .
I made the tag by cutting 2 peices of white card the same size.. out of one of the tags i cut a circle to fit over the bottle with my nestie ...i folded it over about a third of the way down and then just stuck the 2 pieces together as seen in the pic below then i decorated it ...easy as that,as i have entered it into hazels xhallenge...for a child  this week you could also use it over some bubble bath !!!
The easel  card was made using the same papers as the tag from the decoupage pad ,i added marianne d corners, a layered snowflake made using a sizzix die and punches,added gems and ribbon from meiflower crafts

autumnal tag

Hi all
I have made another tag using  stamps by sheena douglas..and indigo blu and a free corner stamp from a mag ages ago
...The tag shape is a nestie...I used TH distress inks in sunkissed straw,dried marigold and a bit of victorian velvet.
the leaves are by sizzix ,the flower is made using  an old bookwhich i  cut out with a scalloped punch and then inked in the same colours as the tag .the layers are then scrunched up and glued together and then finished with a pretty button

sweet treats tag

Hi all
Here is a tag i have made using the free sweet treats birdie stamp set i had from a magazine a long time ago...I have distressed the background with TH distress inks in,tumbled glass,faded jeans and stormy sky...The tag shape is an x cut die.
The flowers/leaves are made using  memory box dies.The ribbon and pearls are from meiflower crafts,
i guess if you use less dimensional flowers this would make a really pretty bookmark too.

DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S STORE GLICH IS NOW FIXED

Saying Good bye

I have some really sad news...I have been a DT member for 2 terms for the digi doodle shop and i have thoroughly enjoyed working with the DT and With all the wonderful digi stamps that Judy and her Mom have drawn....But at the on the 1st oct the doors to the digi doodle shop and challenge blog will be closing....
so they are having a fabulous sale ...so you can fill your boots until then...

Fizzy moon christmas set

Hi all
Here is a cute xmas set i have made using the fizzy moon decoupage pad by helz cuppleditch called Christmas for her ...It is a new range for xmas 2012..It is xo cute and beautifully detailed with matching papers.
I have used a white bag blank from my local craft shop...In house at milford haven marina.
The snowflakes are made using 2 punches...The corners are a marianne d die .I used one layer of decoupage less on the bag front image for the cute tag .The ribbons and gems are from meiflower crafts
