Another Sue wilson inspired card

...recently our local craft shop had Sue Wilson come down for a demo day and as the ladies enjoyed her work so much I am doing a refresher demo on it so I have been prepping for a demo on fri ...here is one of the cards that will be featured using one of Sue's new dies Tethered hearts..It is a very quick and easy card  to make and the die cuts like a dream. I also used the filigree bow die and cosmic shimmer glue also from the creative expressions range. The butterflies and sentiment stamps  are part  a stamp set from paper pretties.

DT card for I ♥ ProMarkers ribbon challenge

Hi all
It is time for another challenge at I ♥ ProMarkers challenge.  The theme this week is "Ribbons" . We have 2 sponsors for this challenge...Crafty Ribbons  who will be giving the winner a  £10.00 voucher for their store [which does not incl p and p] and Marianne Design
who will give the winner either 2 stamps or 1 die and 1 stamp or 2 dies

 

For my DT card today I have used a gorgeous fave digi of mine from crafts and me called Aliah . I coloured her with promarkers . The flower,flourishes ,ribbon strip border and shape behind the flower are all dies from Marianne Design. The butterflies are made using stamps from paper pretties. The ribbon and gems are all from Meiflower crafts. The stamped sentiment and corresponding punch is from SU .

Hi all
Here is another card I will be making at my demo on Friday ..I kept the colour scheme to two colours to keep it  plain and  simple ,so it showed off the die cuts ..The handmade flowers/ leaves are  made using the Sue Wilson classic rose die set.. The bow die is also from Sue Wilson.  The flourish was a free bee from a mag a while ago. The cut out detail is a die from memory box called piestra tile. The stamped butterflies are part of  a stamp set I won at paper pretties.. The pearls are from flourishes with a bling.The linen cardstock is from Limetree crafts.

Monochrome Card

I have a demo to do for one of my local craft shops...SET in Haverfordwest who recently had a SUE Wilson demo day.,.It was a great success and the ladies who attended would like a little  refresher on some of the techniques sue Wilson used to create her very stylish cards.so here is one of the cards I will be showing on Friday's demo.
I used a creative expressions background stamp,  a classic rose die set. tuille., iced snow black glitter and  cosmic shimmer glue. The frame dies  I used are from a spellbinders set

Silver Guilded card

Before we talk about the card above I have some fab news.
I have been asked to join the very Talented DT at Aud's sentiments challenge blog..I am thrilled and will be sharing  my first challenge project  with them on the 21st of AUGUST.

 

I made a card very similar to this one just recently and was asked to make one in silver and black by my friend .its for her daughter  as a congrats for passing her exams . ...I really have enjoyed revisiting my guilding flakes .I used the following  Sue Wilsons  creative expressions products  ..The guilding flakes, leaf dies, cosmic shimmer flitter glue and cosmic shimmer glue.
I also used a sweet Dixie frame die, a captivating square nestability and a sizzix bow die from SU .  also some silver wow embossing powder and silver pearls

Daughter Card

Hi all
Here is a card made for my friend to give her daughter .I used Anna marie  spotty and striped papers/card .Arianna blooms flower dies and matching stamps . Lace from my stash. Spotty ribbon and gems from Meiflower crafts .The die cut around the sentiment is from sweet Dixie. The leaves are a die from cheery lynn . The stamped sentiment is from Papermania .

Dress form card

Hi
Here is a card I have made using a sizzix dress form /button and cotton reel die I had in the half price sale at  my friends shop In House Interiors and crafts ...The papers are from TH. I distressed then using a TH distress tool .The lace is from my stash  The dress form was embossed using my fave  indigoblu script stamp and gold wow powders. The tuille around the dress form and the flower dies are classic rose dies from Sue Wilson. The flowers were given the same embossing treatment as the dress form. The frame around the sentiment is a nesty  from the captivating square range by spellbinders,The stamped sentiment and label punch I used to cut it with are both from SU.The stamped sentiment and artisan label punch I used to cut it out with are from SU I love this sentiment its really cute

Hi all
here is a thanks you card I have made for my BFF ...........To make the card I used ..the following sue Wilson products The quilted flower A4 embossing folder . The classic 3d bow die. which I embossed with the same embossing folder The classic Rose die. The 2 frames I used are captivating squares by spellbinders and  a sweet Dixie die. The flourishes are a free bee die from a mag. The edge dies are also from spellbinders the panel was made using a memory box piestra tile die. The blue spotty card is from Anna marie designs.and the sentiment is my fave  from visible image.i just think it sums up a thank you verse very well.
