A Grateful Heart

 Here is  my mid month inspiration project for this months CraftDee BowZ Challenge. I have gone a little shabby chic with this project and i really enjoyed getting out all those left over bits of lace and die cuts i have been saving for a long time and using some of them up on this pretty project .

I have used a pretty resin heart as the focal point and i added some glitter to make it sparkle .

I handmade the paper and Foamiran flowers again adding some glitter and stormy sky distress ink to the edges.

I made a double layer string bow and a double layer thin ribbon bow on my CraftDee BowZ   bow maker and tucked them in under the flower..The papers are from crafters companion shabby chic range and the  edges were distressed with a Tim Holtz distress tool.. The sentiment is also from Tim Holtz  ideaology sticker pad.and says Start Each Day With A Grateful Heart.
 I love the softness and dimension on this card .

Secret Romance card and tag set

Hi
I am a member if the In2Craft Dt and i have bought these beautiful pads from them so i could have a play and create some pretty projects. The pads are from the paper boutique new release this month . I bought the Pink Paradise pad and matching A4 card and the Secret Romance pad and matching card both in 8X8 as thats my fave size of pad to buy .

There is a post below this one showing a project using the pink paradise set but for this project i have used the Secret Romance set of papers and card.
I created a card and framed it using an easy technique you can find HERE. I  adjusted the score lines from the ones in the tutorial to give a thinner edge to the frame . i scored the 8X8 paper at 1cm ,2cm,4cm 5c on all sides so i could fit the die cut i wanted to use inside it . I uised the Sue wilson Eve set  .

The  Handmade flower was made using Foamiran and  Tim Holtz Stormy sky  distress oxide .The leaves are made from the fern  dies by Sue wilson .

  The  Mdf  tag was made using the same products so it matched

This project above is using the pink paradise set.

The papers are beautiful patterns and great quality , they are uncoated so can be used with your stamps and inks.
The card was created using left over die cuts and lace and embellishments i had in my bit box. The main oval frame that the words sit on has been cut from a tonic mixed media die set .The flowers have been hand made using foamiran for the large one  and airdried clay for the smaller one. I also used Spun sugar distress oxide as it is the perfect match for this set of papers.

Ladybird Birthday card and gift bag set

Here is my  DT project for the Craft-Dee BowZ February Challenge where as always the theme is Anything goes with a handmade bow.

For my project i used a pre colored image called Lady bug with Daisy which you can find HERE

I made a simple shadow box card , and cut an aperture in so i could set the image unside. I used a joy crafts fence die. The flowers are made using a bigz xl daisies die .The cute bow was made using my
 Craft-Dee BowZ bow making tool which makes easy multi and single looped bows with ease every time

For the matching gioft bag i used the Tonic studios rose gift bag die set .The papers used throughout came from a pad i bought in the range.The sentiment came with the image
