Best wishes card

Hi
Here is another  project i have made for In2craft DT  to show just one of the new Creative expressions Phil Martin stamps called Magical Meadow 
You will not find better prices than here at the  In2craft  facebook page /shop for all things creative expression,Xcut and more
I have simply used mustard seed , fossilized amber, and fired brick Tim Holtz oxide inks to create ths background colours.
I used the Magical meadow stamp from Phil Martins new range from creative expressions stamped in stayzon across the bottom of the card.
The dies i have used are also from Sue wilson at creative expressions and they are the  Eve frame for the bottom layer and then the Carol die which sits on top.

The sentiment is from the woodware Hand drawn sentiment set .
The flowers are made using the striped nasturtuims from sue wilson..

Phil Martins Magical Meadow stamp

Here is a project i have made for In2craft DT  to show just one of the new Creative expressions Phil Martin stamps called Magical Meadow 
You will not find better prices than here at the  In2craft  facebook page /shop for all things creative expression,Xcut and more
I have kept it simple this time not too heavily embellished ,just let the oxides and beautiful stamps do the work.
The background was simply blended using 3 colours of  Tim Holtz oxide inks, tumbled glass,stormy sky and faded jeans.
The moon shape was created simply by putting a  circle in place  before inking.
The Magical meadow stamp was stamped across the bottom using stayzon and my Tim holtz  stamp platform. 
The fairy stamp is called spellbound and is from Lavinia stamps. I added some sparkle to her wings
The sentiment is from a woodware stamp set called Hand drawn sentiments

Shabby chic Christmas card

It is Tracey here with my mid month inspiration project. for CraftDeeBowZ.  Despite the sun shining i fancied making a christmas card so i do not have to rush my projects nearer to the festive period  i am going to get organised this year ... Honestly
I have used some lovel;y textures on this card . I used an MDF birdhouse which i crackled using the new creative expressions  white crackle paste.It gives delicate cracks when its dry .Just apply the paste and leave it to air dry . fab

I used hessian which i cut freehand into a heart shape, ripped papers from an old craftwork cards  Christmas paper  pad from years ago. some kraft card ,white gesso,a Sizzix wreath die,and a Sheena Douglass stamp for the sentiment stamped with gathered twig  oxide ink.
The flowers were handmade using a Marianne D die with a glittery stamen added.

The fabulous double ribbon bow and string bow were both formed using my CraftDeeBowZ BOW
MAKER .you can get one for yourself HERE it forms beautiful multi looped bows with ease every time

A Pretty Lantern

Hi all
Here is a  Dt project i have made for  In2craft showing their Die of the week offer from XCUT. It is the xcut   In the garden die...  
I decided to make something other than a card this time so i made a lantern that you can put a battery operated tealight in . 
It is quite a large lantern so i will use a few tealights to give it a good glow .
I used parchment paper to make the actual lantern which is 11cm square in size .

The die was cut 4x in navy blue card and then i cut it 4x in green so i could paper piece the green into the die as shown . I then used sue wilson graphite  guilding polish and a opaintbrush to paint the gates . I added them to the sides of the lantern and made a box base and lid to fit on the lantern 

The top has been decorated with a large navy  bow which was made using a bigz xl die. I embellished the bow with a small foamiran  handmade flower and some leaves  . I added a mat for it to sit on using the same card i used on the lantern

Fire and ice challenge

Hi all
I am a member of a fab facebook page called Showing off the Sue wilson style. It is run by a friend Paul Ford and he has set a challenge for anyone who would like to join in . The challenge is to use the fire and ice technique and make an easel card using sue wilson [ from  creative expressions ]dies,any shape any size just as long as it has fire and ice and is an easel card.

Here is my version. i used a very old striplet  die called  Tethered hearts and cut it 3x to make a background panel. i added a sheet of double sided adhesive paper to the front of it and turned it over to add the{FIRE} guilding flakes to the backside where the sticky shows through the die cut holes . a. To achieve the ice part you just peel off the paper from the front section of adhesive sheet you stuck on and add iced snow crystals to cover the entire sticky sheet .
then just use it for the background panel .Sue wilson has a video  tutorial on how to do thisFire and ice  technique on youtube ...easy and so effective

I used striped nasturtiums dies also by sue wilson to create the flowers but i used guilding wax to colour them .

The sentiment is a die from sue wilson from the  mini expressions range which has been also coloured with guilding wax.
The stopper part of the easel card is made by using the tethered hearts die which had the same fire and ice technique applied but i added an extra die cut to the top after i did the technique to make it look neater
