passion painting

 I watched a masterclass by Monica Paruso for  Stamperia  and I loved the project she created so I had a go at creating it for myself and here is my version 

It is an A4 canvas . A piece of Stamperia passion paper was applied to to the canvas and this scene was created over it using texture paste and acrylic paint using a palette knife .A ballerina paper die cut was then shaped with a ball tool and added to the canvas for dimension .. Altered frame and card

 

Today I am sharing an upcycled photo frame  and slimline card . To alter the cheap white plastic frame I  used gesso , texture paste and tattered angels grey chalk paint on it and then finally dry brushed it with white acrylic paint . The papers and die cuts I used in each panel  are  by Stamperia and are called   Romantic Journal  .. I also used mulberry paper and foamIran flowers , sequins lace and die cut leaves  coloured with distress ink .

Altered frame

 

Here is an old wooden frame I have upcycled using home made texture paste , stencils , mulberry paper flowers , air dried clay embellishments , distress ink , ribbon and beads on a roll . I also made a plank effect background and simply added a stamped butterfly coloured using distress ink and a die cut doily behind it .

Pretty violin

Today I m sharing a project I have made using an mdf violin  on a stand . I have used   Dusty concord distress ink , gesso , texture paste and a stencil , hand made foamIran flowers , ribbon , die cut leaves and ephemera from craft o’clock creative reverie papers
