gold xmas

hi all
as promised here is a the card i have made for my other sis,this time in gold ,using the same products[8x8 in square card] and method as yesterday except i used gold instead of silver ,the ribbon on these cards is exquisite and is from the .ribbonbox ,this gold one has poinsiettas on and yesterdays silver had holly on it ,the card looks a bit wonky but it was the only way i could take a pic without my reflection in the mirri !!!!!i prefer the silver version what do you think?

white xmas

hi all
i have made this card for my sister ,she loves monochrome cards with that high end designer look ,i am soo happy with how it turned out that i am gonna make it for my other sis in gold so look out for tomorrows post.....i embossed an 8x8 card with straight lines down one side,then i embossed a peice of card with the swirls cuttlebug folder to create the background for the card,i used the papermania baubles embossing folder on  matt silver mirri card ,added a gorgeous ribbon from the ribbon box and a  marianne d die cut poinsietta with gem centre,pearls  and a sentiment and thats as easy as it gets.

my good friend sheila lost her brother Andrew last year ,its coming up to his birthday and has asked me to make her 5 cards to mark the day,all the same ,for her ,her sisters and parents,i had never made anything like this before and was honoured to be asked,she had written a poem she wanted to be included  inside ,and told me what to write on the front the, rest was up to me.i hope she likes them ,this is the most personal commission i have ever had and dearly hope i got them right,
