seasons greetings

Hi
I have been very busy these last few weeks packing up my home and moving again !!!!
Thats twice is 8 months now and i am telling you its my last ever move .If i even hint at maybe i will move then you have my permission to slap me lol
So i had no craft tim while this was happening but i am now all set up except for my video equipment which will be sorted soon and here is the first of my Christmas cards  made for In2craft featuring the Sue wilson Carol die.

Festive Collection - Carol
If you are a Sue wilson fan  make  In2craft your first stop when buying Creative expressions products as you will find their prices ,service and delivery times cannot be beaten ...
I scoured pinterest for a template to make a star shape and there are a lot on there for you to use .so simply choose a shape you like and enlarge it in your graphics programme of choice .This one was 21.cm x 21cm ( gold layer) and then i resized one to 19x19cm ( white layer).I printed them out onto copier paper and then cut them out to make the templates which i have laminated
I also wanted to make a card base so i used  the 21cm template and placed it onto apre made  8x8 card blank with one of the star points sitting over the fold line at the widest part (THE SAME WAY YOU DO FOR MAKING AN EASEL CARD BASE).
It was plain sailing from there really .

I cut the larger template in gold mirri card and the smaller one in white card
I only have one embossing folder from sue wilson ,  it is not christmas themed but i find it works well on any theme of project you are making. i used this folder to emboss the smaller white star i had cut out.I love dry embossing as it just transforms a plain piece if card into something special.
I cut the carol die in gold and used the fab corresponding stamp for the image in the centre which was stamped in gold ink and heat embossed with clear detail cosmic shimmer embossing powder.

 Carol's Festive Gifts
The handmade flower is made from silk foamiran .

I added my usual flourishes and a sweet little tag with the seasons greetings sentiment .I also cut a bramble branch memory box die in white just to add a little something extra
I find when making Christmas cards you must keep them as simple as possible as we make so many and they take a long time if they are too complicated . This new range of sue wilson dies would be perfect for making quick cards as well as making those special cards using all your favourite techniques.
I hope you like my card and have a go for yourself .Do visit In2craft  and save yourselves some money on these dies.

  7. Long time since I have connected with you Tracey - but with all that moving it is understood! Like my dog, I am in my forever home too! What a beautiful project you made with this die - and I love the idea you shared about it being a fairly quick card to duplicate for the many cards you would want for Christmas. Well done! Thank you so much for sharing your project and creativity at 613.
