something different for a change

I always wanted to learn how to crochet but never had the time with all the papercrafting so last month armed with a crochet hook ,some arran wool and good old you tube I had a go ...I love it and now I am afraid i am addicted ...i managed to make myself a very nice cushion cover and so spurred on i made a second one for my friend wendy putting a cute scalloped edge on it [the lilac and pink one] ...bless her she was  genuinely thrilled with it and so now i am going to inundate my friends with my crocheted makes...whether they want them or not lol.
Its good to start a new crafty technique and the satistfaction when you have produced a finished piece is just fab ...the only thing is housework and cooking have taken a back seat as i crochet my way around the cushion  cover world ...Its a good job my other half is so easy going really bless him

For my DT card this week I have made this easel card using the cute  digi image called
In the twenties.. The papers are from The new Gracey taylor /Trimcraft collection called Springtime posy..They are such lovely colours and designs and are 12x 12in size....
The image was coloured with promarkers. The flowers are from wild orchid. The ribbons , buttons and gems are from Meiflower crafts .The heart shaped dies are from cheery lynn. The stamped sentiment is from Stampin Up. My cute double bow was made using my fave bowmaking tool I won it in a challenge all the way from Australia  from Craft-Dee BowZ  how lucky  am I !!

Parisienne chic mini book

Hi all
Here is a cute mini book I have made using the Trimcraft /Grace Taylor papers and embellishments from the Parisienne Chic paperpad.The papers are just beautiful...I have not stopped using them since I had them from Trimcraft ...lol. I just used 8x8 card blanks to create the book ...The ribbons are from meiflower crafts

Hi all
I bought this fab apron shaped notice board ages ago from my local craft shop In House Interiors and Crafts on Milford Haven marina ...The apron shaped chipboard notice board is made by  candy box crafts and started life like this..it is quite large at 35cm tall

I  received 6 brand new fantastic Grace Taylor 12 x 12  paperpads and embellishments from Trimcraft to work with [lucky me being on the DT for Trimcraft]..the pads are just beautiful ...they are called ..Parisienne chic, ...Happy Days...Modern Cabin...Home sweet home Lets Play and Springtime posy..wow so many stunning patterns and some of the pads have 100 sheets to drool over ..I chose the parisienne chic to cover this apron notice board with and used some of the fab embellishments on it too that come as part of the range,the paper flowers are made using dies and papers from the parisienne pad....

Happy 70th Birthday card

Hi all
 Here is a 70th birthday card I have made for my friends mum who's birthday is this Saturday...she wont see my blog so I am ok to post it today .lol
I love the white on white wth a splash of colour ...I used nesties dies, A darice  8x8 embossing folder which is my fave embossing technique as it fills the background space on your project without the use of a backing papers. The flowers are from wild orchid crafts .The swirls are dies from memory crafts .The ribbon and pearls are from meiflower crafts. the topper is by wee stamps  from hobbycraft
The gorgeous bow was made using my FABULOUS Craft-Dee BowZ   bow maker

simple fathers day gift

Hi
I used to love making fathers day gifts as a child for my Dad  so I thoroughly enjoyed making this quick sinple fathers day gift that the kids/grandchildren could do ...its a choc bar wrapper .I used the new papers from Docrafts Heritage press range and I love how it turned out ...The buttons are from my huge button stash I have had for a very long time .

It is time for a new challenge at I ♥ ProMarkers....This week the theme of the challenge is "Digi Does It.". The sponsors for this weeks challenge is the fabulous Dr Digi who will be giving the lucky challenge winner  2 digi images of their choice

For my DT project I made this card and bag for my friend and her hubby who are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on the 9th June ..I used one of my fave Dr Digi images called   Derek-and-Deirdery-Dunderton   I coloured them with promarkers.The papers I have used are from Dovecraft's back to basics monochrome range. I used  blue flowers from mulberry crafts and handmade the black rose using a punch ,The swirl die and precious hearts dies are by memory box..the frame around the image is by xcut.the sentiment is a digi from sentiments4you and the  black organza ribbon is from meiflower crafts    .the bow was made using my Craft-Dee BowZ -  tool

Hi all
 I was asked to make a card for a step dad for fathers day .He loves all; things nautical so I went with this theme...the wording was put on at the ladies request...I used a topper from hunky-dory and papers from the DCWV boyhood paper pad , The anchor is made using a cheery lynn die.The banner is made using the SU pennant punch .

Ship Ahoy Mini Book

Last June I had a fabulous holiday with my partner , my daughter and her boyfriend on a cruise ..we visited fabulous places ,venice,Dubrovnik split,croatia ..to name a few so I have finally got round to making a mini book of our adventures...I used a woodware ring bound kraft album.The papers  and embellishments are from the  docrafts all aboard range All these items are available from SET in Haverfordwest...The ribbons and charms are from Meiflower crafts.
